Just to make sure I asked ICM about "universal" and it is. Replaced $56 unit with this - works great.

Duty cycles to failure is better than stock replacement

I utilize the USMR-50 as a replacement for all my commercial pump control station controls. It offers significantly higher quality and better duty cycles to failure compared to the stock replacements.

Flexible potenial relay due to voltages sensing.

It performs well for hard starts, as expected from a potential relay. I have no dislikes, but I particularly appreciate the 240-volt sensing method over the 290+ volt start winging voltage sensing method.
